When Mario and Pauline arrive at Donkey Kong’s house, MIPS informs them that the Kongs have all been kidnapped by a huge turtle monster named Bowser, and it is Mario’s responsibility to save them. Kaze Emanuar created the rom-hack Super Donkey Kong 64, which was made available in April 2016. The hack uses the Super Mario 64 engine to recreate Donkey Kong 64. Eight DK64 levels are included, along with several new power-ups. The only overworld is DK Isle, an island that resembles a gigantic DK head.
This hack lacks star descriptions and uses a non-stop system, so Mario does not exit a level after collecting a star.
