Super Donkey Kong 2 est un port NES / Famicom du jeu SNES Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong Quest publié par NT en 1997.
Les contrôles, les graphiques et l’audio sont similaires au jeu SNES, mais déclassés en fonction du matériel NES. Le joueur ne peut contrôler seulement que Diddy Kong, et en raison de l’absence de Dixie Kong, un seul coup d’un ennemi peut entraîner la mort. Il y a seulement trois niveaux dans ce jeu.
