Le Burst Chaser où Rockman se déplace rapidement grace à une plus grande distance de saut et l’Air Sliding où Rockman peut glisser dans les airs. Ce jeu dispose également de nouvelles musiques, d’une nouvelles conception des niveaux, d’ennemi modifié ainsi que de nouvelles armes.
