Glade of Dreams is a beautiful land, covered by a mysterious sphere called Great Protoon. Therefore, all citizens under protection and live happily. However, good things cannot exist forever. Mr. Dark appears to steal the Great Protoon and leaves behind the chaos. But thanks to that, the mystery of the ball was also revealed. It was created by little angels called Electoons and has been protected by Betilla for thousands of years. But now, the guard was defeated and seriously injured, while the angels dispersed and were locked in the cages of the monsters. The only way to balance things as they are is to rescue them. However, is there anyone brave enough to do this when the most powerful have been defeated? At that time, the hero Rayman appeared as a savior.

Glade of Dreams has five areas, including forests, green mountains, Picture City, The Caves of Skops, and Candy Château. You will adventure through each location to rescue the Electoons in custody while approaching the final boss, Mr. Dark. The plot will be completed, and the Great Protoon will be restored to its original state when you defeat the villain. By playing the hero Rayman, you will adventure in the forest and meet Betilla to get magic and fighting ability. It sounds a bit fancy, but what you really get here is the ability to detach the hand to perform afar attacks. It is a punch to damage the enemy, and in some cases, it can be used to break a lock or grab an item.

Rayman Advance is a unique combination of both action and adventure elements. The maps are designed to be quite lively and continuously changing, while the monsters also tend to grow in strength to type. Sometimes there are also other elements, such as the help coming from a mosquito, so the character can fly over swampy areas or abyss. This is a bit reminiscent of Super Mario with a theme on Yoshi Land, right?
