Paperboy is a game developed and published by Atari Games in 1985. Players will play the role of a newsboy who takes on a newspaper called “The Daily Sun ”On a street in the city. On his own bike, he will deliver a daily newspaper to customers who have subscribed before. Besides, players will sabotage the homes of unregistered customers, annoying the news and must avoid the dangers on the streets.

At the beginning of the game, players can choose the difficulty level including Easy Street, Middle Road, and Hard Way. The newspaper seller will provide the booklet to the subscriber throughout the week and will not drop the newspaper. On the way to deliver the newspaper, he will meet some danger from all sides. The newspaper seller will constantly move forward and cannot stop until the day’s mission is over. If he moves slower or stops more than a few seconds, the bees will appear and attack him. Each building on the street also contains certain hazards for the boy such as fire hydrants, fences, and signposts. Players need to be careful when moving to avoid collisions with cars, people moving on the road, dogs, and bees. Upon successful delivery of the newspaper to the subscriber’s inbox, the player will receive 250 points. If the newspaper is delivered to the customer’s door, the player will receive 100 points. Points will be doubled when playing Middle Road and tripled when playing Hard Way. In addition, points can be gained when destroying trees, running through flowers or throwing paper at windows of unregistered houses.

The task will end on Sunday. Hard Way is the hardest mode. Newspaper delivered on Sunday is heavier and slower. Deliver all of these journals to our customers on the most dangerous day to complete the task each week, and become successful.
