Snake – the character does not equip any weapons at the beginning of the mission. However, he can collect weapons and explosives during the infiltration of the base. Each weapon will have limited ammo and you need to collect bullets in each enemy base to ensure there is no shortage. Some other gun accessories that can be picked up by the player include the stock: increase the stability of the gun; silencer of submachine gun and shotgun: limit the sound emitted when the player attacks the enemy. In addition, Snack can also pick up some special weapons to destroy the obstacles, or destroy the enemies patrolling with fists. The enemy’s base consists of three different buildings. Each building will contain floors and sometimes even the basement. By destroying guards, players will collect keys to open rooms and explore new areas. Exploring the rooms will help players gather information and rescue hostages held captive in the building. After rescuing 5 hostages, the player’s rank will be increased one star. This will increase the fighting ability of Snake. If a hostage is killed, the player will be demoted.

Not only equipped with weapons but also Snake can also contact his commander through a transceiver. With this device, each Snake ally will provide information or advice based on the player’s current area. Snacks need to stay in touch with allies throughout the game to ensure their own safety.
