Mega Man & Bass

After the 8th event had ended with the defeat of Dr. Wily and Dr. Light, they tried to rebuild a new castle along with the purpose of revenging. But unfortunately, when the new robot technology database is about to be completed, an artificial intelligence named King appears and steals all of the results. And before fleeing, he announced a plan to rule the world with modern technology, or clearer, it’s about robots replacing humans. Bass, who calls himself the strongest and most intelligent that Wily has ever created, has become angry. He was chasing King but was prevented by an army created by King from the data warehouse. Dr. Light reached out to Mega Man about the awful things which have been going on as well as proposed a plan to stop them, including Bass’s cooperation.

During more than 15 years of developing the Mega Man brand, the action RPG gameplay is the only element that has not changed at all, and it’s not an exception in this game. Notwithstanding, Mega Man isn’t the only character that can be picked to play, but there’s also the appearance of Bass as even more superior. In terms of skills, the main character still uses the signature attack – Shot Buster, while still sliding to deal damage to enemies. As for Bass, he can fire bullets at a fast speed in many different directions and can perform a double jump, higher, further than Mega’s single jump. However, in comparison with terms of damage, it’s still a notch below Mega’s.

About levels, it is designed into several stages in which you need to defeat eight powerful bosses before participating in the final battle against King. Nevertheless, the difficulty of the game increases rapidly, as the map has many dangerous pitfalls, and more destructive robots appear. The two characters only have a certain amount of life energy, so if you can’t dodge the attacks, it may lead to death and failure. But do not be worried. In the worst case, the characters will be revived at the nearest checkpoint.

Although this game is much more difficult than the previous versions, it is such an attractive and fun one that players can harness each time they win. The developer knows how to distribute support items appropriately, to help you energize, increase the number of lives, and even increase your strength with special weapons. During the battle, they will be picked up on the way, or dropped by the enemies. Don’t miss the good part!
