Mario Party 64 is a Super Mario 64 ROM hack that was made available by MrComit in February 2020. The mod includes more than a dozen minigames in addition to recreations of the first eight Mario Party boards. The hack contains 70 stars. “Same Game,” an updated version of the 1985 tile-matching puzzle game Chain Shot, is one of the recreated minigames. The Cutting Room Floor claims that although this mini-game was fully playable in the original Mario Party’s code, it couldn’t be done without cheats.
