On the plateau known as Twin Peaks, the objective is to climb to the peak of either of the two nearby mountains. You will then be rewarded with a randomized item in addition to some coins, and after that, you will be teleported back to the beginning of the level. This climb can be made significantly easier or significantly more difficult by a number of Skeleton Gates and Events.
A condensed description of all the exciting areas is as follows:
– Landing player can duel anyone else on the map, much like using a dueling glove. This is located in the middle before the junction. – If a player lands in a Thunder Cloud Space, they will be struck by lightning, which will result in the poison mushroom effect. – The player who lands on the top two spaces of each peak is warped to the cloud in the top right section of that peak. – If a player lands on either of the two happening spaces in the clouds, they will be rewarded with a star.
Additional actions:
Fly Guy: A fly guy can be found close to the middle of the map. There is an arrow pointing towards it from an item shop. A passing player can offer fly guy 10 coins to warp another player to this location in exchange for the player’s presence.
– Completing either the peak or the cloud: If a player completes either the peak or the cloud and still has movement left, they will receive an item and coins as a reward for reaching the top of the area. After that, they will be warped back to the beginning of the map so that they can finish the rest of their movement. The left peak will give the majority of items from the Bowser Shop, while the right peak will give the majority of items from the Toad Shop. The cloud will give the majority of rare items.
