One night, the bad Dedede King came and stole all the food of Dreamland and the stars that were used to get food. At this time, a young resident Kirby volunteered to reclaim everything from Dedede. The game has a familiar side-scrolling action-platformer style similar to the classic 8-bit and 16-bit games, you will play the main character Kirby in the quest to find Dedede. Kirby has the ability to inhale enemies and other objects into his mouth to swallow or spit them out as a remote attack. In addition, you can also breathe the air causing Kirby’s body to swell in combination with waving wings to fly. However, Kirby’s iconic copying ability has not yet appeared. In your journey you will have to overcome many different levels of play and confront enemies including powerful bosses. When Kirby touches an enemy, one or more health points will be lost depending on whether the person is strong or weak, but if you fall into a deep pit the game will end immediately and you have to restart the level. During the game you will also encounter many special items that give temporary abilities for Kirby such as fire breath or mint leaf exhalation, etc. Similar to the old platformer, when defeating enemies or pick up items you will receive points, when reaching a certain milestone a number of HP will be automatically added to the character. When you finish the game you will unlock an extra level with an extremely high level of difficulty that challenges the top players.
