Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance – Recolor

Here is the Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance Recolor, which was created by both JonataGuitar and sorrow! It follows in the footsteps of JonataGuitar’s well-received recolor of Aria of Sorrow.

A “basic” hack for Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance that aims to overhaul the visuals of the game, making it much more enjoyable for a fresh playthrough as well as being easier on the eyes. This hack can be found on the Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance wiki. A devoted follower of the series conceived and developed this mod.

-JonataGuitar has modified the coloring of EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THE GAME’S PALETTES, which includes Backgrounds, Animations, Characters, and Enemies.

-Sorrow was the one who uncovered all of the animation sequence palettes and then provided them to JonataGuitar in order for him to repair the damaged areas of the game. The DSVEdit interface does not provide a straightforward path to these palettes.

-Sorrow made adjustments to a variety of different area tile sets in order to make them suitable for the newly implemented color scheme.

-Sorrow made a change to the Final Boss Battles, making it so that they now start in Dracula’s Throne Room (from the Boss Rush Mode) and then proceed to the Psychedelic area for the “Brain Fight.”
