Bubble Bobble Part 2

Bubble Bobble Part 2 is an adventure game released by Taito America Corp in 1993. The game revolves around Buby’s journey to rescue Judy, Judy’s boyfriend. While Bub and Judy were playing in the park, a skull-shaped monster appeared and forced two people into the bubble. Drunk, a monster whose mission is to bring Bub and Judy to a secret base. During the move, Bub transformed into a dragon out of the bubble to rescue his friend.

The game offers two modes for the player: one player and two players. With two-player mode, they will turn to play the role of Bub and Bob to rescue Judy. Bub will jump and move to shoot bubbles. The bubbles are used to attract monsters’ attention. They will not be able to distinguish his bubbles and their bubbles. When the monster enters Bub’s bubble, it will freeze for a while. He will use this to move deep into the base. Also, if he could not drop the bubble, he would have to move quickly to avoid the pursuit of the enemy. If Bub takes too long to deal with enemies outside the base then the vicious Baron Von Blubba will chase him and eventually kill him. So Bub needs to quickly destroy all outside monsters to avoid the attention of Von Blubba.

When defeating enemies, Bub will collect a number of support items and bonuses. The support items he picks up will increase the speed and power of Bub. A special item that he can buy with his bonus is armor. It will help him to be invisible for a short time. This ensures his safety when multiple enemies appear and attack. The difficulty level of the game will increase as he approaches the center of the base. Creating bubbles and jumping on them is the best method for Bub to overcome attacks from enemies. This tactic is very important later in the game when he needs to reach enemies within the base. After overcoming a series of enemies, he is taken to the center of the base, where Judy is held. Judy was arrested and imprisoned in an iron cage. Drunk is the last boss in the heart of that base. To get the key from Drunk, Bub needs to destroy all enemies in the room and Drunk. Obtaining the key will help Judy be rescued. After the journey, Judy and Bub return to the city, the monster’s base is completely destroyed.
