Abadox: The Deadly Inner War

Abadox is one of the fascinating games in the shooter genre. The game was designed by Natsume and was later released by Milton Bradley on the Nintendo platform in 1989. The plot of the game is set in 5012 when a giant creature named Parasitis on the journey to conquer the universe. His tower attacked the Abadox (a blue planet). When it has eaten any planet, Parasitis will get the entire shape of the planet and gradually carry out the conspiracy to swallow everything in the universe. Alive is the protective force of Abadox. In hopeless efforts to save their planet, they failed. The monster has too great power, and it has defeated many civilizations. Alive is destroyed almost entirely except for a single ship. The only way to destroy Parasitis is to use the hidden power of Maria (princess of Abadox). The ultimate goal of this ship is to do everything to rescue the princess. They decided to send their best warriors for this mission, the Nazi lieutenant. His mission is to try to infiltrate inside of Parasitis and rescue Princess Maria.

Basically, the game follows the rules of regular shooters. Characters start with three lives and end if there are no more lives. The player’s starting weapon is a regular single gun. However, weapons with special powers will float in space. Collecting them helps players possess powerful weapons such as 3-dimensional guns, lasers, and shockwave weapons. Players can also switch back and forth between weapons collected. If the character loses a life, all upgrades will be removed, and the player must start the level again. Most enemies will look like the monster’s internal organs. In addition, players can also collect items to be able to use special powers such as boosters that increase movement speed, increase power, launch missiles, and damage shields.

The game consists of 6 stages. The odd stages include the first, third, and fifth stages that will play under the horizontal screen. Left stages Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the game will change to the vertical screen. In the final stage, the player must find a way to get the princess out of the rectum cavity of the alien monster before it explodes.
